The Airtrim mask is a heat and moisture exchanger that protects your airways from cold, dry winter air by recovering the heat and moisture from exhaled air. Designed and made in Sweden these masks are great for all winter activities, and perfect for winter cycling, whether commuting or racing.
With Airtrim you can walk, exercise, work, and be outside longer and more comfortably in cold climates or at high altitudes. Ideal for those sensitive to cold air, working outdoors in cold windy conditions or in the freezer and refrigeration industry, as well as those suffering from asthma, COPD or angina.
Airtrim makes several filters that provide different levels of heating and airflow. The Sport / Asthma filter provides the most heating but the least airflow, while the Racing 3 provides the least heating with the highest airflow, the Racing 1 and Racing 2 filters are in between.
The choice of filter depends on the level of intensity and the user, for winter cycling we recommend the Racing 1 or Sport / Asthma filters that are included with this mask. For higher intensity activities you may want the Racing 2 or 3 filters. Replacement filters are available here. We also stock a pack of all three racing filters here.
